Welcome to Rochester Boat Club
COVID-19 – June 2020 Update
RBC cares about safety. We have adopted strict CDC based directives for hygiene and put US Rowing guidelines in place for training in small boats. The boathouse is open for tenants to row singles (1x) and doubles/pairs (2-/2x) with individuals living in the same residence. Unfortunately, team boats are not allowed at this time.
The RBC community stays strong through virtual training sessions, clinics and weekly Anthony Hours. As our knowledge of COVID-19 evolves and when state/local guideline allow for team training our intent is to return to the water as soon as possible with coached programming.
Stay healthy and be smart.
Rochester Boat Club (RBC) is a not-for-profit community of scullers and sweep rowers that row on the beautiful Erie Canal in Fairport, New York.
We offer instructive rowing and sculling for adults of all skill levels, Learn-To-Row / Learn-To-Scull through competitive, with indoor rowing in the off-season, providing a year-round life-long sport that many have come to enjoy.
Come join us for fitness, fun, and the camaraderie of a team sport unlike any other. See what all the fuss is about!
RBC is rowing on the Erie Canal at 10 W Liftbridge Lane in the village of Fairport, NY.
If you’re not already rowing with us, you might want to consider giving it a try! Check out the beautiful photos on our Facebook page if you need further proof!
If you would like to scull or row with us, you can register and pay online. Or send us a note via our Contact Us page. In the message area indicate any past rowing experience and which program(s) interest you, and you’ll be contacted by one of our club officers with more info.
