Welcome to Rochester Boat Club
COVID-19 – November 2020 Update
RBC cares about safety. We have adopted strict CDC based directives for hygiene and put US Rowing guidelines in place for training. Outdoor rowing has concluded for the season. We are currently offering virtual coached erg classes and general erg/fitness work-out plans, and encouraging other outdoor exercise activities. We will plan to return to on-the-water training as the weather and canal allow in the spring.
As our knowledge of COVID-19 evolves and when state/local guidelines allow for team training we hope for an eventual return to full programming.
Stay healthy and be smart.
Rochester Boat Club (RBC) is a not-for-profit community of scullers and sweep rowers that row on the beautiful Erie Canal in Fairport, New York.
We offer instructive rowing and sculling for adults of all skill levels, Learn-To-Row / Learn-To-Scull through competitive, with indoor rowing in the off-season, providing a year-round life-long sport that many have come to enjoy.
Come join us for fitness, fun, and the camaraderie of a team sport unlike any other. See what all the fuss is about!
RBC is rowing on the Erie Canal at 10 W Liftbridge Lane in the village of Fairport, NY.
If you’re not already rowing with us, you might want to consider giving it a try! Check out the beautiful photos on our Facebook page if you need further proof!
